My areas of practice include taxation, taxation planning as well as audit and attestation services. In addition to compliance services, I also work in strategic business planning assisting clients with implementation and exit strategies for their business.

In working with business owners, their most valuable asset is often their business or varied business interests. Once the business is established, the owner’s main goal is wealth creation and preservation. I assist these business owners in preserving their wealth through creating an overall plan including estate planning as warranted.My area of expertise includes distribution, manufacturing, software development, construction and professional service providers. The twenty five years plus in public accounting has allowed me to gain insights into these industries which would benefit a business owner no matter what phase their business may be.

I am a member of the AICPA and NCACPA. In addition to holding a CPA license, I hold a NASD Series 65 and a North Carolina Life and Health and Disability insurance licenses.

After graduation from UNC – Chapel Hill (1983), I have served on various Boards and have been involved with several civic organizations. At present, I am the Chair of Davie County Board of Education and a Trustee of Ardmore Baptist Church.
